Nuttamon Por Pramsumran was born in Samut Sakhon, a very small town near Bangkok, in 1993.
With B.A in Dramatic Arts and M.F.A in Art Theory, she believes in the power of words and conversations in art. She writes dialogue heavy short stories and plays.
Her works include the short story collection Abstract Bar (P.S. Publishing, 2016), La maladie de l’amour: Detoxification of a Heart (World Stage Design Festival, Taipei, Taiwan, 2017), Make Love, Not War (Performative Art Festival #7, Bangkok Art & Culture Centre, 2018), video installation art PART (Early Years Project 4, Bangkok Art & Culture Centre, 2019), and her latest play OK LAND (6060 artspace, 2020) won the best ensemble from Bangkok Theatre Festival 2020.
Por cofounded Circle Theatre Bangkok in 2018 to be her safe space and a playground. She has been actively experimenting with new possibilities within the scope of a text-based performance and loves to work with alternative spaces in Bangkok, whether in the role of a playwright, a director, or a producer.
