Regizor:Dasha Nikiforova

 

Dasha Nikiforova is a Swedish actress and director with her roots deep in industrial Siberia. As a director she loves to infuse movement and unexpected choreography into traditional theatre. Even in familiar themes she want to find a new twist which can challenge the viewers bubbles and make them see things from a new perspective. As an artist she likes to challenge her way of working in a process and takes every opportunity to find new way to create.

Dasha got her education through The Theatre Academy of Dramatic Arts, Luleå Uni. of Technology in north Sweden in 2015 where she acquired a bachelor degree in acting, but also through workshops in physical theatre in US, France and Greece.

In 2018 she wrote, directed and choreographed her own performance about the artist Frida Kahlo Frieda x 3.

Dashas work is often characterized as absurd, humorous and visual.
