Avtandil Diasamidze is a stage director. He has recently graduated from Shota Rustaveli Georgian State University of Theatre and Cinema, Drama Department (Levan Tsuladze directors’ group).
His stage productions include Bear by A. P. Chekhov, A Cube – a choreographic play based on He by J. Kharchkhadze (Marjanishvili Theatre), The glass menagerie by Tennessee Williams (Marjanishvili Theatre), Woyzeck by Georg Bühner (Marjanishvili Theatre), The Land by Alex Chigvinadze (independent project), Odissea by Avtandil Diasamidze (Tbilisi Youth Theatre) as well as 2 theatrical performances: Joaquin Cortazar‘s House (Gogol Fest, Kyiv, 2017), Trip N-105157 (Gogol Fest, Kyiv, 2018), The Room by Emma Donoghue (Valerian Gunia Poti Drama Theatre).
He won an annual theatrical award Duruji in 2015-2016 for the best young director.
