“Face to face” by Peter Quilter is a frothy, colourful, charming comedy with rapid changes in moods and situations. Actors Monica Ardeleanu and Adrian Andone propose three couples, three love stories, and three different life situations.
In the first scene, Jonathan and Wendy have a blind date and hope that at least this time things will go well. In the second scene, Angela is about to get married and Toby, her lifelong friend, teases her about wanting the best for her. In the final scene, Giuliana and Bobby, although still in love, decide to divorce, with all the twists and turns that come with that decision.
“Face to face” is a simple show, but very demanding and demanding for the two actors who interpret the six characters of the play with vitality, charm, and humour. A play full of laughter, a funny rendering of love, of modern relationships in a performance full of humour.
